The Twilight Saga: Eclipse The Movie

Another Twilight star is getting involved…this time Justin Chon is supporting CPAF (Center for the Pacific Asian Family), which helps Asian Pacific Islanders who have been victims of domestic violence and sexual assault, has lined up some impressive supporters for its star-powered public service announcements, including actor Justin Chon from the Twilight films.

Other CPAF supporters include John Cho (Star Trek), Sandra Oh (Grey’s Anatomy), Aaron Yoo (21, Disturbia), Archie Kao (CSI), Joe Hahn (Linkin Park) and Lisa Ling (Oprah).

Enough about CPAF – what is Justin dishing about “Twilight: Eclipse”?! He says:

“You can expect it to be very similar to the book,” Chon said, “but there will be a lot more action, and a lot more lovin’ because … the guys are tryin’ to get with Bella.”

Taylor Lautner, the Twilight mega-hunk, is set to present at another awards show – this time at the Golden Globes.

At present, no other “Twilight: New Moon” actors are slated to present – although I’m sure hoping they are doing their darndest to coax a couple Vampires out of the rafters.

Three confirmed attendees: Taylor Lautner of Twilight: New Moon, True Blood’s Alexander Skarsgard, and Avatar’s Sam Worthington.

Anna Kendrick has told how she stirred up competition between her heartthrob co-stars George Clooney and Robert Pattinson.

The Golden Globe nominee, who stars with George in Up In The Air and Robert in the Twilight films, told Ellen DeGeneres she accidentally fuelled a friendly rivalry by giving George a GQ magazine which Robert had signed: “To George, best of luck, hang in there – Love Rob.”

George responded with a signed Esquire magazine, which said: “Dear Rob, thanks for all the inspiration, I’m a huge fan – Love George, two-time Sexiest Man Alive.”

Anna told talk show host Ellen that George teased her about Twilight. “George gave me such a hard time about shooting Twilight. Whenever I came back, it was like, ‘Oh sorry, this isn’t the Twilight set, you’re not working with Mr Handsome’ – he called Rob Mr Handsome,” she said.

The Twilight duo of Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are watching you watch them. So sayeth, E! Online from a deep Twilight source. The source insists they know who’s talking smack and who’s being nice and are filing it away for future use. I’m not exactly sure what this means…but it sounds like they are getting offended at people taking their comments wrong and making a mash-up of their ‘relationship.’ Rumor has it their relationship is a ‘promotional’ kinda thing. I can see how this would be pretty easy to do considering Rob says he’s “single” and the pair are overtly covert. Anyway, here are the details!

“They are very aware of everything that’s said about Rob and Kristen,” insists Deep Twi, “and particularly right now. Just because [Rob and Kristen] are in between filming doesn’t mean we’re not following what’s being written about them now; it will be remembered.”

In other words, any outlet that cares to take a potshot at the couple—perhaps doubting the reason we’re not seeing Robsten out and about is because they were only a promotional tool—will be logged and literally filed away.

“Their people are very sensitive,” insists another scooper, from deep inside the Twilight franchise, “and not only are they hyperaware about what’s being reported on Rob and Kristen—it’s the whole cast, too. It’s an incredibly protective bunch, like a family.”

According to E!:

Gotta say two things here: First, everybody should know that the protectors of Robsten who are being so bullish are doing so because they’re an item, get it? Secondly, we don’t actually tremble too much at the thought of Robsten’s guard dogs, really, ’cause we’re the ones who broke Rob and Kristen were sweet on each other in the first place.

Guess we will see how it all comes out in the wash – when they start appearing in public again for Eclipse!

In the Italian issue of Vanity Fair, Robert Pattinson declares his single-ness.  Awesome, now we have a chance.  Ha.

New Moon’s Robert Pattinson, gracing the new cover of ItalianVanity Fair, clears up a few misconceptions about his life and loves in an interview with the magazine.

RPattz, when quizzed about his relationship with Twilight co-star (and rumored love interest) Kristen Stewart, told the magazine: “I am single… almost everything that came out about my private life is false.”

He said much of the reporting on his life is based on speculation, because there is simply nothing else to talk about.

“I think it happens because, really, there is not much to say about what I’m doing,” Pattinson said. “While I am filming, I live practically [like a] recluse in a hotel.   I come out only to work, and sometimes to go out for dinner. But, if you read the magazines, it seems that I have a frantic high life.”

The Twilight franchise is making money.  And why shouldn’t it’s stars.

According to Trans World News, the main stars of Summit Entertainment’s  “Twilight Saga” which include Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner and Kristen Stewart will be getting substantial raises to reprise their roles in the fourth franchise installment titled “Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn”. They also report what many sites (including us) have been reporting which is that it will be broken into two parts which Summit is currently making plan for. In addition, the studio wants Chris Weitz, director of ‘New Moon’ back for both of the movies, assuming the film does indeed get broken up into two seperate projects. We’ll continue to keep you posted as more “Twilight” news comes in. In the meantime, you can check out “Twilight: New Moon” which is now playing in theaters everywhere.

Sounds like a likely and solid strategy, but this could be another one of those gossip landslides that gets fans and critics all worked up over not much at all. Of course, there is always some truth in every rumor in the mill, at least we’d like to think so… you be the judge.

As the Twilight sequel New Moon continues to break the bank at the box office, Twilight focus has now shifted to the last Twilight Saga film, Breaking Dawn, and contract negotiations of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner. It appears Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner may be negotiating their contracts for Breaking Dawn as a Twilight Saga collective to give them more financial leverage for Breaking Dawn after the success of New Moon.

According to The Chicago Sun Times, the unconfirmed news that Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner may join together for Breaking Dawn contract negotiations is similar to contract negotiations of the stars of the TV series Friends back in the 1990s actors Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, and Lisa Kudrow joined forces to renegotiate their Friends contracts as one force of Friends. TheBreaking Dawn report also goes on to reveal that a source close to both Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner states that the New Moon stars get a laugh out of the online Twilight rumors that a rift exists between the Twilight Saga co-stars when in fact Pattinson and Lautner are actually good friends.

So what’s the deal with the Breaking Dawn contract negotiations? That’s the hot Twilight question of the moment. The simple fact that Breaking Dawn exists means Breaking Dawn will get made after so much money poured in from Twilight and New Moon. The rumor of spiltting Breaking Dawn into two parts may be a hold up to any official announcement since it’s likely Pattinson, Stewart, and Lautner had contract options for fourTwilight Saga films.

From our point of view, although no official word on Breaking Dawn has come down the pike, the two part split of Breaking Dawn is beginning to make the most sense. It’s a safe bet to say that by the time Eclipse rolls around, with even more Twilight Saga attention on the stars than there is now, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner will be itching to move on to other projects beyond the Twilight Saga. Shooting Breaking Dawn back-to-back will allow Summit Entertainment to extend the Twilight Saga in theaters while the stars move on new projects as they get older in the same manner as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Kristen Stewart says she had to take on The Runaways, the film about Joan Jett’s band of the same name, in order to keep herself from going crazy between Twilight films. Rumor has it that Joan Jett made the sullen Kristen cry onset!

The Runaways, is the story of the groundbreaking ’70s female rock group the Runaways focusing on the duo of guitarist/vocalist Joan Jett (portrayed by Twilight’s Kristen Stewart) and lead vocalist/keyboardist Cherie Currie (Dakota Fanning) as they navigate a rocky road of touring and record label woes under the malevolent eye of an abusive manager during their teen years.

Acclaimed video artist Floria Sigismondi directs from her own script, with Scout Taylor-Compton co-starring as guitarist Lita Ford.

Eclipse Director David Slade tweeted on October 29, “Twilight Eclipse officially wrapped shooting, at 4.30 am October 29th. Physically and emotionally exhausted. DAVID S.”

The wrap party actually happened a week earlier, where the Eclipse crew celebrated with a ‘drunken frat party.’

What else is there to do in Vancouver?  Well, something…considering Robert Pattinson showed up Kristen Stewart-less.  Hmmm, what up with that.
