Kristen Stewart (doesn’t) Talk Breaking Dawn

February - 18 - 2010 Comments

In an interview with The Dish Rag, Kristen Stewart is asked about Breaking Dawn and whether it will be broken in two – and whether it will be 3D. Kristen seems to very at ease and ‘open’ in sharing her thoughts…almost.

Save it for the Screen (Kristen & Rob)

February - 8 - 2010 Comments

The Twilight-franchise big-wigs are asking the Bella and Edward actors to cool things down.
Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart who have been forever off and on linked in romantical ways, has reportedly been asked to save it for the screen and promotional tour.

Their rumored off-screen romance during the holidays had them spending time with one another’s families and buying a home together.

kristen and robert“Let’s just say Rob and Kristen got a slap on the wrist,” a source said. “Everyone, from their management to the studios involved in their upcoming movies, is worried [Rob and Kristen] will start to become…distracted.”

The insider added,

“Rob and Kristen are still together and totally cool. But they are both listening to what their teams are telling them, which is to stay focused.”

Whether it’s true or not, I have to agree with the suits…at least get through Breaking Dawn so the passion can live on…on screen!

Robert Pattinson & Kristen Stewart Come Out

January - 22 - 2010 Comments

According to OK! Magazine, Robert Pattinson and his Twilight Saga co-star Kristen Stewart are finally publicly dating!

If this is true, hurrah for some – including the Twilight franchise people…so why the hesitation in going public?

After filming Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and the intensity of the Bella and Edward … maybe this is a love that will last?!  Or will it fizzle as soon as he steps into the sun?  Or when Kristen (who has said she is Bella), realizes she’s Kristen?  Either way, we are happy for the couple – now show us the love.

Here are the OK! Magazine highlights:

Kristen Stewart, Robert PattinsonThe couple have decided to openly date when they return to film the fourth movie, Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn, later this year.

A source said: “Rob and Kristen are very happy, and everyone that’s part of the franchise is so happy for them. They don’t feel the need to hide it anymore.”

In this same article, Emilie de Ravin, Rob’s newest co-star in the upcoming “Remember Me” also claims to have excellent chemistry with Rob.  Clearly Robert Pattinson has got something the ladies like…

Stephenie Meyer Talks Breaking Dawn

January - 12 - 2010 Comments

Stephenie Meyer, the author of the Twilight Saga, mother of a million obsessions is speaking…and we must listen. It has been since 2008 when Stephenie last made a public statement. What has made Ms. Meyer reach out publicly? Apparently a certain rumor about the “Breaking Dawn” movie-to-be is what it took.

For some reason, this particular rumor that she and Summit were having creative differences over whether “Breaking Dawn” should be one movie or two stuck out and she chose to refute it on her website.

011210_stephenieJust a quick note on the subject of the Breaking Dawn film: there is no drama over whether the book should be one movie or two. My personal feeling is that it would be very difficult to cram the whole story into one movie (as I’ve said in many interviews previous to this), but if a great way of doing that surfaces, I’m all for it. Two or one, whichever way fits the story best is fine by me, and everyone I’ve spoken with at Summit seems to feel the same way. We’re all excited to move forward on this, and we are slowly and surely getting there. I know people are anxious for news, and so sometimes gossip get fabricated to stir things up, but there’s no basis to this particular story.

Steph

There have been lots of “Breaking Dawn” rumors circulating in the past year; pretty much since the idea the film could be split first popped up on the Internet. It seems strange that this should be the story Stephenie chose to respond to. Maybe it hit too close to home, or maybe she just didn’t like being called out. Either way, the entire full circle story seems a bit pointless as we still have learned nothing new about the film. Maybe the next time you come out of your Arizonian cave, SM, you can give us the smallest tidbit of new news?

Breaking Dawn Filming This Fall

January - 11 - 2010 Comments

Whether you liked the Twilight finale, “Breaking Dawn” or you didn’t. For those of us who are Twilight fans – it doesn’t much matter – because we can’t wait to see the movie. Well, first we want to see “Eclipse,” but whether they break the Dawn in two or keep it as one – we will be there with fangs on.

The LA times reports that “Breaking Dawn” is filming soon, the producers are a talking about how to break up the monstrous 750+ page last book. For those that don’t want any spoilers about the epic last novel…STOP here!
newmoonkiss

When it was released in August 2008, fan reaction was intense and divided with some “Twi-hards” expressing confusion and dismay over a plot that involved *SPOILER ALERT* a recently graduated 19-year-old Bella giving birth to a half-human/half-vamp daughter named Renesmee, who grows much faster than the average mortal child and who possesses a unique way of communicating with those around her, clearly inherited from Dad’s side of the family.

Wyck Godfrey, the producer of all the films in the “Twilight” saga, admits that the creative team still doesn’t know how they’ll handle the character in the “Breaking Dawn” movie, but said that the plan is absolutely for the production to go forward — as either one or two installments — with an eye toward beginning to shoot in Vancouver this fall. All three stars are signed for “Breaking Dawn,” he said, meaning that Stewart and Pattinson will be dealing with the joys and woes of interspecies parenting and newly minted heartthrob Taylor Lautner will return as often-shirtless shape-shifter Jacob Black.

At the moment, screenwriter Melissa Rosenberg, who’s penned all the “Twilight” movies, is working on the “Breaking Dawn” script(s). “It’s a work in process,” Godfrey said in an interview Friday. “The issue [of whether there will be one or two movies] is not going to be resolved until we get the full treatment and see whether it’s organic. If it’s not organic, I don’t think it will be done, and if it is, it will be. It really has to do with how much level of detail from the books there is, with all of these new vampires that appear in ‘Breaking Dawn,’ the whole section about Jacob… It’s a very long single movie if it does become a single movie.”

Although there’s been a great deal of online chatter about whether Chris Weitz, director of the second and most recent movie, “New Moon,” would return to helm “Breaking Dawn,” Godfrey downplayed that possibility, saying, “I think everyone would be happy and excited if he came back, but I don’t think it’s going to happen.”

He and the other principals are formulating a list of potential directors, “but right now,” Godfrey said, “we’re just focused on the treatment and getting that right. At that point, we’re going to see who’s available and who’s appropriate. It’s such a complicated book because you have the emotions and the intensity of the love story — so you need somebody who’s just a wonderful director of actors — and yet it’s really complicated from an action and visual effects standpoint. They’ve got to have both tools in their kit.”

A visual effects background might be particularly helpful when it comes to dealing with the character of Renesmee.

“I keep having visions of ‘[The Curious Case of] Benjamin Button’ in my head,” Godfrey said, referring to David Fincher’s Oscar-nominated 2008 fantasy about a man who becomes physically younger as he ages. “It’s certainly going to be visual effects in some capacity along with an actor. I wouldn’t be surprised if it ends up being a full CG creation, but it also may be a human shot on a soundstage that then is used to shrink down. I don’t know. We need a director. When we get a director, that director will need to come with a point of view of how they want to tackle it.”

The third movie in the series, “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” is due in theaters June 30.

Peter Facinelli Votes for TWO Breaking Dawns

December - 16 - 2009 Comments

Somehow it seems unsurprising that Peter Facinelli, who got a total reboot of his career with “The Twilight Saga,” would like “Breaking Dawn” to make it to the big screen. When MTV News spoke to Peter at Z100’s Jingle Ball Friday, he shared a full wish-list of things he would like in regards to the fourth (and, according to him, fifth) installments of the series.

First and foremost, Pete would like to see this novel split into two films. “I would love to have them break it into two parts because it’s such a thick book,” he said. “I think that’d be fantastic to split into two, ’cause there’s so much information. Whatever happens, I’m sure it will be good.”

While we have already detailed why we don’t think two movies would be such a good idea for the fluff-filled novel, we do agree with Peter’s director choice (as does Kristen Stewart). “I’d love to seeChris Weitz back,” he said.

He added as to whether there’s actually a chance Chris would agree, “I don’t know. I mean, I know he actually has another film he’s doing right now, so your guess is as good as mine. I’m sure they’ll get somebody very capable. I mean, we’ve had some pretty fantastic directors so far.”

Two films and Chris as director complete a “Breaking Dawn” checklist most fans would agree with, and the scene Peter most looks forwards to shooting is another fan favorite. “You know, there’s this scene where Bella has the baby,” Peter said, jokingly adding, “Like any other doctor, I’m not there at the time. I think I’m on the ninth playing a round of golf, but it’s an interesting scene. I’d like to see how that’s shot.”

Unfortunately, this is only speculation and wishful thinking thus far, as Peter said he hasn’t heard any “Breaking Dawn” news from Summit. “Usually the fans know before me. I’ve been combing the Web sites to see if we’re doing a fourth movie,” Peter said. “I haven’t heard or seen [a script yet]. I think everybody’s just kind of still on the ‘New Moon’ high.”

Kellan Wants Two

December - 10 - 2009 Comments

You’ve all heard the rumors about the possibility of “Breaking Dawn” splitting into two movies, a la Harry Potter.  And from the exclusive Kellan Lutz scoop, it sounds like it may very well be true.  It’ll be interesting to see how it works, what with the huge Jacob perspective part of that book.  Surely Team Jacob is rooting for two movies.

kellan-lutz-headshotIf you’re psyched about the prospect of a two-part ”Breaking Dawn,” you’re not alone.  Twilight” hottie Kellan Lutz is also into it.

“They haven’t told the rest of us actors yet,” he confided exclusively to The Dish Rag at the Hollywood Foreign Press Young Hollywood party last night at Nobu.

“I have read that they are talking to Rob, Taylor and Kristen to negotiate to make ‘Dawn’ into two movies. I’d love for it to be two films,” he added.

How about that “Twilight” TV series rumor? “I just heard that too. I don’t know how. You already have the books and the story’s been told so beautifully. And there’s already ‘True Blood’ and ‘Vampire Diaries,’ and they’re both great. I don’t know how it would work. Twenty two episodes?

And are you listening, Matt Damon? Because Kellan Lutz seriously wants to bro up with you in your “Bourne” action film franchise.

“I’m making this checklist as an actor,” he confided. “Right now I just really want to be part of the Bourne franchise and the more I say that, maybe Matt Damon will read it and it and maybe I can play his brother.”

We could totally see that. They even look a bit alike.

And on the heels of his co-star Taylor Lautner’s move into the teen superhero flick, “Max Steel,” Kellan wouldn’t mind some super powers himself very soon. “I’d love to be ‘Captain America’ someday.”  He’s not sure exactly what his next project will be yet.  And its too early to talk specifics. But it’s definitely going to in the action or romantic comedy genre. And what else did we learn during our chat with Kellan:

Broad strokes about his upcoming projects

“They’re are going to studios to get the funding, and there’s one I will produce. Most are action films and a couple of romantic comedies and I’m just thrilled with all the scripts.”

On “Twilight” being his Golden Ticket

“People work 20 years to get what we have,” Kellan admits. “We really are so lucky. Its like you get a headstart and its all because of the fans. And it’s not just about money or getting offers, it’s that we can mold our careers.”

On attributing “Twilight” franchise success to Rob Pattinson and Kristen Stewart
“The rest of us, we could suck probably,” Kellan says. “It’s Rob and Kristen who have the amazing chemistry. Without those two keystones, “Twilight” could have flopped. It really could have.”

Scam Alert: You’ll Have To Wait To Be Cast

December - 4 - 2009 Comments

If you are one of the too many to count twihards out there interested in being cast in Breaking Dawn, you are going to have to wait a bit longer. Which, means that the current casting call emails and websites out there right now that you have likely seen are in fact scams.

Don’t waste your time or money on these sites as they are simple trying to take advantage of eager fans. Accesshollywood.com has more:

kristen-stewart-in-new-moon

Fraudulent e-mails announcing casting calls for “The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn,” have been flooding the inboxes of fanpires across the country, according to The Casting Scoop.

“First of all, I knew it wasn’t credible because ‘Breaking Dawn’ doesn’t go into production for several months, so no casting director would have been hired yet,” says Casting Director Lana Veenker, who handled Northwest casting on the first “Twilight” film. “Also, the shoot location hasn’t even been announced! How would anyone even know which city or country to be casting in?”

The e-mails implore those who are interested in walk-on parts to apply immediately with impending deadlines, promising that no experience is necessary and pay ranges from $80-250, depending on the role.

In addition, Lana discovered that bogus casting call advertisements (which take advantage of search engine keywords) have been appearing on “Twilight” fan sites everywhere. She tracked down the company responsible and learned that they had an “F” rating with the Better Business Bureau.

“People who take advantage of kids like this, who prey on their hopes and dreams, truly raise my ire,” she said in a statement released to Access. “I get thousands of letters and e-mails from ‘Twilight’ fans who would do just about anything for a walk-on part in one of the sequels. It scares me to think of what the low-lives out there could do to hurt such easy targets.”

So how will fans know when Summit Entertainment is legitimately casting for “Breaking Dawn”?

According to Lana, when and if “Breaking Dawn” does start hiring extras, it will be widely advertised in the media. There will be no need to pay to register for a Web site in order to find out casting details, and any company that is claiming it is currently casting extras for the film is a sham.

Twilight Cast Tag Team On Negotiations

December - 3 - 2009 Comments

Sounds like a likely and solid strategy, but this could be another one of those gossip landslides that gets fans and critics all worked up over not much at all. Of course, there is always some truth in every rumor in the mill, at least we’d like to think so… you be the judge.

new-moon-taylor-lautner-stewart-pattinson-500x317

As the Twilight sequel New Moon continues to break the bank at the box office, Twilight focus has now shifted to the last Twilight Saga film, Breaking Dawn, and contract negotiations of Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner. It appears Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner may be negotiating their contracts for Breaking Dawn as a Twilight Saga collective to give them more financial leverage for Breaking Dawn after the success of New Moon.

According to The Chicago Sun Times, the unconfirmed news that Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner may join together for Breaking Dawn contract negotiations is similar to contract negotiations of the stars of the TV series Friends back in the 1990s actors Matthew Perry, David Schwimmer, Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc, and Lisa Kudrow joined forces to renegotiate their Friends contracts as one force of Friends. TheBreaking Dawn report also goes on to reveal that a source close to both Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner states that the New Moon stars get a laugh out of the online Twilight rumors that a rift exists between the Twilight Saga co-stars when in fact Pattinson and Lautner are actually good friends.

So what’s the deal with the Breaking Dawn contract negotiations? That’s the hot Twilight question of the moment. The simple fact that Breaking Dawn exists means Breaking Dawn will get made after so much money poured in from Twilight and New Moon. The rumor of spiltting Breaking Dawn into two parts may be a hold up to any official announcement since it’s likely Pattinson, Stewart, and Lautner had contract options for fourTwilight Saga films.

From our point of view, although no official word on Breaking Dawn has come down the pike, the two part split of Breaking Dawn is beginning to make the most sense. It’s a safe bet to say that by the time Eclipse rolls around, with even more Twilight Saga attention on the stars than there is now, Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart, and Taylor Lautner will be itching to move on to other projects beyond the Twilight Saga. Shooting Breaking Dawn back-to-back will allow Summit Entertainment to extend the Twilight Saga in theaters while the stars move on new projects as they get older in the same manner as Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

Forks: An International Destination and a Fake!

December - 3 - 2009 Comments

Forks is a small town in Washington, like 3000 people small. This little town was thrust into the limelight when Stephenie Meyer chose it as the setting for her Twilight series. Ever since the Twilight craze…well before the movies ever came out. I personally had friends dressed in prom and wedding dresses vacation in Forks to pay hommage to their craziness, I mean obsession. Besides the fact Twilight, New Moon, Eclipse and Breaking Dawn (probably) weren’t even filmed there. But who am I to talk…I totally get it and am just jealous I have been yet.

Even fans in Korea are talking about Forks! Here’s the Korean news article along with some authentic Forks-footage.

forks

If you haven’t read the “Twilight” books or watched the movies, then it might be safe to say you’ve never heard of Forks, Wash.
“The Twilight Saga,” a series of books by Stephenie Meyer, is about a teenage girl Bella Swan who falls for a vampire Edward Cullen. Their love unfolds in Forks, a murky, overcast town surrounded by lush forests that Meyer thought would be a perfect place for vampires to thrive.

The phenomenal success of the books and two blockbuster films “Twilight” and “New Moon” has helped spur tourism in Forks, a town with a population of 3,175.

Never mind if Forks is at least a three-and-a-half-hour drive from Seattle, or that the two films were not even shot here (they were filmed in Portland and Vancouver respectively) or there are no actual vampires or werewolves in the area.

It hasn’t seemed to stop thousands of Twilighters, as fans like to call themselves, from making a pilgrimage to Forks.

Forks, described as the former logging capital of the world, only attracted as few as 50 tourists annually in the late 1990s. Thanks to Twilight, the number of tourists spiked dramatically. In 2008, 18,000 tourists visited the town, and in the first eight months of 2009, there were more than 60,000.

What exactly is the allure of this town with its “gloomy, omnipresent shade” that keeps tourists coming in droves? This reporter headed to Forks over the summer to find out.

`Twilight’ Zone

Going to Forks involves a three-and-a-half hour drive plus ferry ride from Seattle. It may be time-consuming, but it is also a chance to appreciate the scenic views of the Olympic Peninsula.

forks2

Along the way, there’s Port Gamble with its quaint traditional American-style houses and Port Angeles, a “beautiful little tourist trap” where Edward rescues Bella from a bunch of riff-raff. Port Angeles is also the gateway to the Olympic National Park, home to the Hoh Rain Forest.

It is a charming drive, with endless forests, sometimes covered in fog, and the spectacular glacier fed Lake Crescent.

Upon arriving in Forks, the weather was cloudy but not a drop of rain in sight, contrary to its reputation as the rainiest place in the continental U.S. (annually, it gets an average of 10 to 12 feet of rain).

The wooden “Welcome to Forks” sign greets visitors, exactly the same as the one seen in the film. No wonder it is the most photographed spot in town, according to locals.

Tourists who prefer to explore on their own should pick up a self-guided tour map with key book locations from the Forks Chamber of Commerce Visitor Center. Inside, there’s various memorabilia from the books and film, including a note from Meyer. Incidentally, Forks celebrates Stephenie Meyer Day on Sept. 13, Bella’s birthday.

Outside the center, there’s a replica of Bella’s beat-up red truck, another good photo op. The Timber Museum, devoted to Forks’ logging history, is right next door but is often overlooked by the Twilighters.

Going through the streets, it’s obvious how much Twilight is defining Forks. The main street has five or six shops selling Twilight-related merchandise such as books, shirts, jewelry, sunglasses, coffee mugs, posters and dolls. There’s even Forks High School Spartans gym uniforms, Native American dream catchers and even “vampire killing” wooden stakes.

Even restaurants have jumped on the bandwagon: Smokehouse Restaurant boasts of Bella Berry Pie; Pacific Pizza offers the pasta dish Bellasange; while Three Rivers Resort has a special Twilight menu.

A `Dazzling’ Tour

For fans who want the ultimate Twilight experience, the Dazzled by Twilight store offers daily tours of key book locations in Forks and nearby La Push. For only $39, tourists are treated to an entertaining, photo op-filled three-hour tour on a black shuttle bus.

Rianilee Belles, the vivacious tour guide, keeps Twilighters pumped up with excitement by telling stories about Forks and giving pop quizzes about the books.

forks3
While Forks Police Station might be an unusual place to start any tour elsewhere, this spot holds special significance for Twilighters, since Bella’s father Charlie Swan is supposed to be the town’s chief of police. This is probably the only police station in the world with a mini-shrine devoted to Twilight in the lobby.

Belles says there are some die-hard fans who would deliberately try to get a speeding ticket from the Forks Police, just to get proof they were in Forks.

Even crazier is how some students who would try to transfer to Forks High School, to get bragging rights that they went to the same school as Bella and Edward. The school, a cluster of low buildings, looks like any other ordinary high school, but Twilight has turned it into a landmark.

Not everyone is happy with Twilight’s popularity however, and there was an incident earlier this year when some pranksters tried to burn down the school sign. The arson attempt was thwarted, and the sign, save for a few burn marks at the back, remains intact.

The tour also makes special stops at some local residents’ houses, which were simply designated as Bella’s or Jacob’s house, due to similarities to Meyer’s descriptions in the books. Bella’s modest home has a sign that proclaims “Home of the Swans,” while Jacob’s red-painted house has motorcycles parked outside.

The Cullen House, described in the books as “timeless, graceful and probably a hundred years old,” is actually the Miller Tree Inn Bed & Breakfast. The quaint house, surrounded by a small garden, is small in contrast to the film’s ultra-modern version.

There’s a mix of fiction and reality that fans seem to be perfectly comfortable with. Belles, the tour guide, would often talk about the book’s fictional characters as if they were real.

Even at the Cullen house, there’s a note written by Edward’s mother Esme. It reads: “The Cullens are off to the Amazon to learn more about wildlife in a tropical rainforest. We expect to be away for an extended period.” There’s also an empty parking space reserved for Edward’s father Dr. Carlisle Cullen at the Forks Community Hospital.

Werewolves in La Push

With the song “Werewolves of London” playing in the background, the tour bus heads out to La Push, a Quileute Native American reservation along the Pacific Ocean. Located 15 miles from Forks, La Push is where Bella’s friend Jacob and his tribe of werewolf descendants live.

There’s a “Treaty Line” sign that is supposed to keep vampires, the werewolves’ enemies, out of La Push. However, it’s only part of Meyer’s lore, since there’s no actual werewolf connection to the Quileute tribe.

First Beach, where Jacob first tells Bella about vampires and werewolves, is a magnificent sight. Strewn with driftwood, the beach is constantly pounded by strong waves, making it a favorite for surfers. Misty fog surrounds the rocky cliffs, where Bella would go cliff-diving in New Moon, adding more mystery to La Push’s wild beauty.

Taking a trip to Forks and La Push is a rare chance for Twilight fans to lose themselves in a world where they believe, at least for a few hours, that vampires and werewolves do exist.

Abusive? What’s Really Best For Bella?

December - 2 - 2009 Comments

I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t know the answer, but in our modern, politically correct and equal opportunity driven society, it seems like Twilight themes are in question. Is Edward really good for Bella? Is it healthy for them to he together? Should we forget all that and just enjoy the entertainment value of a great series?

Take a look at what Entertainment Weekly has to say…

Edward and Bella Embrace

Edward and Bella Embrace

I’m the first person who’ll tell you how important the Twilight series is — not from a literary standpoint, mind you, but more from a reading standpoint: These are books that get kids reading. And yet, as a feminist and the mom of teenage daughters, I’ve also got some problems with them — namely, their depiction of women and relationships. Why does Bella always need to be rescued by men? Can’t she rescue herself occasionally? Heck — can’t she even drive herself places? (In New Moon, whenever she’s in her truck with either Edward or Jacob, they’re the ones driving.)

Why do all the male vampires have college degrees, medical degrees, and so forth, while — SPOILER ALERT FROM ECLIPSE AND BREAKING DAWN!!! — Bella gets married fresh out of high school, with nary a word breathed about higher education? And then, when she becomes pregnant, why does she emphatically refuse an abortion, even though the pregnancy is killing her? (Let me be clear: I’m not saying it’s wrong for a woman to choose marriage and motherhood, or wrong for her to decide against college. But Bella is still a kid, even in Breaking Dawn.)

So last week, in his excellent blog post, movie critic Owen Gleiberman compared Edward to a stalker. And yesterday, in “Is Team Edward Enabling Domestic Violence?”, GalleyCat’s Ron Hogan called my attention to a LiveJournal post describing how the Edward-Bella romance has all the earmarks of an abusive relationship as defined by a national domestic violence group: “Does your partner look at you or act in ways that scare you? Check. Make all the decisions? Check. Threaten to kill you? On their first date….”

Breaking Dawn Has Split Personality

December - 1 - 2009 Comments

This is not “new” news, but it is an ongoing discussion and it sounds like the topic of splitting The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn into two movies is heating up and getting serious attention.

There’s really no question that fans will want this pushed through, but will it happen? Only time will tell.

kristen_stewart_new_moon_bg

The fourth installment of Twilight could reportedly be split into two films.

After the worldwide success of second movie New Moon, and the completion of third film Eclipse, bosses from production company Summit Entertainment want the finale Breaking Dawn to be split into two, sources have apparently told Variety.

The trade magazine also speculates the franchise’s stars Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner could benefit from a bigger pay cheque from the films.

It is also claimed that Chris Weitz, who directed New Moon but was not at the helm for Twilight or Eclipse, will be asked to return.

The move comes after Warner Bros extended the highly-successful Harry Potter franchise by splitting JK Rowling’s final book, Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows, into two films.

Have your say, as a fan, in the whole thing… comment, post, facebook and tweet your vote. I’m sure Summit and Co will listen.
