Robert Pattinson Steaming it Up in Bel Ami
Uma Thurman and Robert Pattinson will be teaming up in a sensual new film based on the 19th-century Guy De Maupassant novel of the same name, “Bel Ami.” Need a new book – I suggest going to get this one!
Filming is reportedly starting next month … yet the rumors are already flying that Thurman has split with her beau Busson for Pattinson. Well, considering the movie hasn’t started filming yet, let’s save that rumor for another day. On to real movie news…
“They are planning on doing the film in London. The plot of the movie is not being released just yet,” Thurman’s rep tells People.
Yet, an article on People.com gives some tidbits about the movie including its other cast members, “Pattinson – cast in May in the story based on the 19th-century novel by Guy De Maupassant – will also be joined onscreen by Christina Ricci, reportedly as a promiscuous young housewife, and Kristin Scott Thomas.”The 23-year-old actor will play a Parisian soldier who then morphs into a bad-boy journalist.
In reference to the film’s female lead role, Pattinson said that she “needs to be literally inspirational.”
Given 39-year-old Thurman’s extensive and eclectic motion picture resume, it is doubtful that Pattinson will be disappointed.
Apparently the “inspirational” means hooking up – Robert will be a busy boy among three very lucky ladies.
