Robert Pattinson getting a BIG head?
In a recent interview, Robert Pattinson admits his ‘heartthrob’ status and considers himself the new Leonardo DiCaprio. Hmmm. Well, for now I agree. But don’t let it swell too big for the rest of us to catch up with.
Here’s the story, read on rpattz fans.
Robert Pattinson, the star of The Twilight Saga: New Moon, in a new interview discusses many things, including, his co-star and ‘good friend’, Kristen Stewart. He also talks about the fact that he indeed has heartthrob status – so much so, that he is considered the new Leonardo DiCaprio by the actor himself.
When asked about being good friends with co-star Kristen Stewart, Pattinson explains: “We’ve both been living through this great Twilight adventure from day one, that alone makes us close. No one can really understand what we’ve been going through over this past year. When we’re together, we’re on the same wavelength, without having to say a word.”
Leonardo DiCaprio has said that Robert Pattinson has taken over his former title, heartthrob status. Pattinson says of this supreme compliment, “Nobody’s given me an instruction manual for dealing with it. I kind of stumbled into it by chance. When Twilight first became a hit, people on the street would call me Edward. I think they’re fascinated with the character, not me. It’s true that I can’t move around as freely these days.
I can’t go out alone anywhere I might be recognized. A lot of the time I feel like a nocturnal animal, blinded by the headlights of a car about to run over me. But I refuse to complain about what’s happening to me. I just have to hunker down and let a few years go by. I know this craze will eventually die down. Then I’ll be able to look back and say I lived through some extraordinary things.”
