Rumor has it, Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are seeking a British getaway. OK! Magazine brought to the attention the story that the leading stars of the “Twilight Saga” series are looking to purchase a home in Ventnor just weeks after they were spotted spending New Year’s Eve in the seaside resort on the Isle of Wight.

A friend told the publication that the idea of buying a property in the area was inflicted by the fact that they were able to live a relatively normal life during their vacation. “Rob and Kristen were only recognized a handful of times while in Ventnor, they loved it,” the friend said. “They were able to walk around largely unnoticed – like a normal couple. They’ve talked about buying a property on island for when the pressures of Hollywood get too much.”

Back in early January, Ventnor Blog reported that the alleged couple have secretly rung in the New Year in Ventnor, which is located 80 miles south of the actor’s family home in west London. It gave a proof by including photos of a young fan with each of the “Twilight Saga” stars separately outside a grocery store in the island.

Ventnorblogger Sally Perry explained that the island has become celebrities’ favorite getaway place. “Well-known artists and musicians have found that they can live normal lives in Ventnor, away from the media glare,” she said. Kate Moss, Russell Brand, Peaches Geldof and Amy Winehouse are among those having been spotted spending time in the area.
