Jason Rathbone in the Airbender

rathboneJackson Rathbone, who plays vampire Jasper in the Twilight Saga movies, will play the lead in the new movie by M. Night Shyamalan The Last Airbender.

The fantasy/science fiction film is based on the Nickelodeon cartoon series that take place in a world where the four elements of earth, water, fire and air can be manipulated through martial arts called bending.

Rathbone will play the character of Sokka, a warrior of the South Pole’s Southern Water Tribe who can control water.
